Purpose-to identify houses of special interest in Thorndon and to focus on Thorndon’s unique combination of heritage houses.

Owned 1861 by Bishop Selwyn of Wellington 1877 by Waterhouse, Premier of New Zealand. Oldest extant
home in Hobson Street.
22 Burrell Avenue - Plaque 2
Chapman Taylor cottage built for H.H. Tombs 1910.
